Mothers Day 2017

The Playcircle team want to wish all Mothers everywhere and particularly the beautiful Mama’s that we have had the pleasure of spending time with over the last several years a very special day this Sunday. In our opinion the role of Mothering needs to be valued by society significantly more than it currently is and mothers themselves celebrated much more often than one day a year! However, we have embraced tradition this week both in the Story session and Drop in.

At the drop in on Wednesday little ones helped their mummies make willow hearts, although, let’s face it in the majority of cases mums were making them for themselves, which was poignant to witness as as mums we rarely show ourselves love!

Mothers were at the heart of the Story session this week too as our amazingly talented Mel actually wrote a touching little story with Mother’s Day in mind.

We really do hope you enjoy a magical Mother’s Day this weekend…let’s spread the love too…let’s reach out to each other; sending celebratory messages as the work we do is so so important and our little ones often too young to tell us.
